CPR TRAINING SESSIONS
Only one in twenty people who suffer cardiac arrest outside a hospital survive. They survive because someone on the spot knows what to do when it happens. During 2008 Weston Methodist Church will be hosting training sessions in CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) run by the British Heart Foundation under their HeartStart UK scheme.
Sessions last two hours and will be for a maximum of 12 people aged 16 and over. Dates and details are still to be finalised, but you can register your interest now by emailing our Local
Community Minister, Viv Cummin.
Pray Without Ceasing is a call to constant prayer made to the Methodist Church by its youth in 2005. As part of our response to this we produce a monthly prayer leaflet which helps us to focus our prayers on different areas of church and community life.
